I did it. I…went to the dentist. It was easier than expected once I got there. Although I was nervous and I initially wished I could be anywhere but there, once it began, I settled in and became more comfortable with what was to come.
The dentist couldn’t have been kinder. She explained everything that was going to happen every step of the way. It put me at ease. I was reminded that every once in a while, when you eventually do the thing that you really didn’t want to do, you’ll feel better. I’m not numb, as I thought I would need to be to get through this appointment.
It is good.
I am good.
The relief washes over me and I wonder why I put it off in the first place.

Nice meme to go along with your slice. This is a great moment to write about too. Thanks for sharing.

Good for you! I find whenever I do something that I don’t want to do (or try something new) and accomplish it, the confidence that I gain from it gets me to the next something new to accomplish. Thanks for sharing!

Oh my gosh! I went through this same thing! I had put off going for years and then leading up to the appointment I had nightmares that they would have to pull all my teeth, but I was good, too! Glad everything worked out for you!

Someone is tapping me on the shoulder saying “go to the dentist!” You are the third person to write about this topic!
Thanks for poking me, again! 🙂

I wonder why everyone just seems so afraid of the dentist and never looks forward to that visit?!
