Well. I cheated with one. It was a 3.5⭐️ but it was still quotable.

I am writing for the 19th annual Slice of Life challenge presented by Two Writing Teachers.

I always try to think of a better way to hold on to some of the great lines I find in books. Some of these were familiar. I still have to read Theo of Golden!

It was a beautiful read. Shocking it was a debit novel.

This slice is a keeper. I love all of these quotes and have recently read two of these books. I’ve heard much about This Tender Land and now I must read it. Can you tell me your top two favorites? Thanks for sharing!

Of all time? This is a list I posted last week. But I just finished The Frozen River today and that is up there, too. Although I’m not sure about deep quotes. I really REALLY loved My Friends and The Correspondent. But they are both so recent so I’m sure if I went back and looked at all the books I’ve ever read it might change!
Theo of Golden was so good, too. I love, love, LOVE The Rent Collector but I read it so long ago so I didn’t collect quotes, then.

The Correspondent and Theo of Golden. But the one I can’t wait to read is Book Club of Troublesome Women. Heard it was great!
