SOL 22: 4-4-4

Today I am borrowing this writing format from Tammy’s Reading Life who borrowed from someone else. The best ideas are almost always inspired by someone else.

4-4-4: choose 4 things within 4 feet and write for 4 minutes.

My glasses have become a new ever present necessity. after 40+ years of perfect eyes, back-to-back-to-back pregnancies, an extraordinarily intense grad school experience, and virtual teaching/learning have done a number for my eyes. I am now a daily glasses wearer.

one of my many pairs of glasses from Zenni

My bed remote has become one of my most favorite tools in my home. It is often lost under the bed or between layers of blankets but I have no idea what I would do without it. I can no longer imagine sleeping flat. I am a feet and head both raised kinda gal now. This is hands down the best investment we made when it came to choose furniture in our home.

My kids are forever in my bed cuddling, reading or watching a movie. Most frequently it is a combination of all of the above. I am certain I will never sleep alone again.

My medications and vitamins are all sorted and separated by day in my weekly organizer. In addition to my daily multi-vitamin and probiotic, I rely on an few others pharmaceuticals to get me through my day. My allergy med, Flonase, and Breo inhaler keep my sinuses as clear as possible and my breathing regulated. My Lexapro and Wellbutrin keep the rest of me regulated. They help me to not want to cry, scream or rip someone’s head off every minute of every day.

Original writing format from The Collective.

I am writing for the 15th annual Slice of Life challenge presented by Two Writing Teachers.
