SOL25: 31 ABCs

Another year written.

I’ve been slicing since 2017. Well—slicing in the annual March SOL Challenge. Every year I say that I am going to continue the Tuesday Slice Challenge and I fall off the horse pretty quickly. I’ll blame my ADHD. It’s my both my superpower and my super curse.

This year, I’m ending on the ABCs of what I’ve learned in the last 8 years of writing. These are words that come to mind when I think of the over 100 slices I’ve put out there over the years. Many have been read. Some have been just for me. All have been from the heart.

A—addictive
B—brave
C—cathartic
D—deliberate
E—emotional
F—fun
G—genuine
H—hard
I—intense
J—joyful
K—kindred
L—laborious
M—meaningful
N—nervous
O—opportunity
P—positive
Q—quirky
R—reflective
S—satisfying
T—time consuming
U—uncomfortable
V—vulnerable
W—welcoming
X—xenial
Y—yielding
Z—zen

I am writing for the 18th annual Slice of Life challenge presented by Two Writing Teachers.

Clever format to conclude the month of slicing! I had to look up xenial–and it’s a great word for the slicing community. Like you, I always intend to slice on Tuesdays–then I completely forget that it’s Tuesday pretty much for the entire year. I am seriously thinking about setting a calendar reminder.
