Today we celebrated George’s Boy Scout Blue & Gold Dinner. Like last year, Regular Grandpa and Great Grandpa joined us. And although no one was sick this year, everyone was exhausted from the Daylight Savings Time transition and too much fun at their sleepovers last night.

Any other Girl Scout parents out there? Anyone knee deep in cookie boxes, delivery bags, and booths? It’s…a lot

Little feet hit the floor in the room down the hall. The rain is falling softly outside my window. Plip plop. It’ll only be a few seconds before he’s here. A decision needs to be made.

After 31 consecutive slices, I am sad to say, I am sliced out. I’ve written about my kids, husband, and mom. I’ve sliced about my job, mental health, snacks and Taylor Swift.

Easter is tomorrow and we have been busy prepping. The baskets have been made except for a few last minute things being delivered today. The eggs are boiled. We’ve planned and shopped for the brunch menu. We are hosting Aaron’s side of the family tomorrow for Easter and April birthdays. We have McKenna, Aaron and my BIL to celebrate.

I have a blank wall in my dining room. I have always wanted a giant mirror for that spot but never found one big enough that wouldn’t literally cost me an arm and a leg. I’ve thought about it a lot over the years and nothing has really suited my tastes.

Her birthday is in a week and a half. She’s been planning her party for almost a year. Seriously…since her last birthday at the roller rink. I think she came home and started looking up party ideas for her pre-double digit celebration.
