Each Friday, I am hoping to list some things I am thankful for from throughout the week. So continuing for this week on Friday the 13th…

- Randomly warm March days
- A father-in-law who ALWAYS serves as daycare provider when we have need
- Modern medicine
- Sundays with Great Grandpa…for the company and having a cook-free night
- My Libby app
- A finished project
- A good NEW project to get my dopamine going and flex my creativity
- Quick morning snuggles with one of the kids
- Nights when no one climbs into my bed
- When George randomly says I love you to me when he forgets what he wanted to say
- Days without traffic
- Cancelled meetings
- My husband
- The ever joyful clerk at McDonalds’s who told me she liked my shirt
- Finishing a really good book…then starting a new one
- Quiet car rides
- My new glasses
- Getting caught up with an old friend
- A cool room with a cracked window and cozy blanket while sleeping

I am writing for the 19th annual Slice of Life challenge presented by Two Writing Teachers.

I’ve had a rough week, and your slice is a reminder to search for things I can be thankful for this week. Thanks!

A Friday pause we can all benefit from… some things on your list would match mine, others will be very different… but gratitude in all

Love this idea of looking back at the week and listing what you’re thankful for. I’m thankful for this post – and I may use it today.
