He didn’t eat much yesterday. At our regularly scheduled Great Grandpa Sunday Dinner Date, he just sat in my lap and nibbled a saltine. He ordered his pancakes to go. He cuddled up in bed with me at 6pm—5pm in his pre daylight savings time mind. His temp was elevated. Ugh. He was going to miss his super star of the week poster presentation.

He made the poster with Aunt Eve on Saturday night but wanted me to help with the sentences. He was so excited for his project but he was too tired to write. So, he used speech-to-text to answer the questions I asked him and we printed them out. Putting that AT knowledge to good use. His teacher graciously said he could do it upon his return.

* My favorite thing to do at Christmas is be a cookie tester. 

* My favorite activities are Boy Scouts and tap dancing.

* My favorite tradition is decorating the Christmas trees at the zoo.
