Yesterday I wrote about why I’m an asshole parent. I promise you…I am not. Kids can just be so unreasonable!

Today I thought I would share why my kids think I’m the best mom ever…sometimes.

I don’t care if they make their beds. 

They only HAVE to tidy their rooms every 2 weeks the day before the cleaning lady comes. Although, more frequently is appreciated. 

I buy him Flamin’ Hots snacks for his lunchbox. 

I don’t care what they wear to school as long as they are clothed…hence my daughter wearing her Christmas dress today with death smelling Uggs—see yesterday’s post. 

They each have their own iPad (with screen limits because I am not a fool). 

We cuddle every night before bed. 

She and I have special girls’ days. 

He and I watch Taylor Swift together. 

I know all their favorite songs from when they were babies. 

I can tell him about the day he was born. 

I let her bake. 

I let him cook. 

They get to swim in my bathtub. 

I make the best chocolate coffee (hot cocoa). 

I listen to him talk about Minecraft. 

I frequently give them dessert WITH dinner. 

We sometimes sneak in morning cuddles after Daddy leaves for work. 

I buy donuts for the weekends. 

We do puzzles together. 

I let them pick out new bedding. 

Sometimes we eat McDonald’s for dinner. 

I found a place where we can get Dolewhip in the Chicago suburbs. 

Cookie day…need I say more?!
